An Cailleach: An Irish Folklore Class for Mörk Borg

This PDF has been made for the FÖLK-LORE MÖRK BORG Game Jam about one of the oldest known deities in the world, An Cailleach. The mythology regarding this figure has influenced us all, from being Grandmother Winter to having the original version of Groundhog's Day when she gathers her firewood on February 1st, but she originated from Gaelic legends with my focus being on the Irish stories about her.

The Cailleach is the Ancient Earth herself. She is the lichen-covered rocks and the mountain peaks. She is the bared earth covered with snow and frost. She is the Deep Ancestress, veiled by the passage of time. And you were born under her influences.
