Elegant and expressive, the Cakebread Cellars Two Creeks Vineyards Pinot Noir 2023 is a Burgundian-style red crafted from two of the winery’s estate vineyards in the cool-climate Anderson Valley AVA—Annahala (69%) and Apple Barn (31%). These coastal-influenced vineyards produce Pinot Noir of remarkable purity, depth, and balance.
Each vineyard block is fermented and aged separately for three months before being blended and matured for an additional 10 months in French oak barrels. The result is a medium-bodied wine with layered complexity and finesse.
The nose reveals fresh raspberries and delicate floral notes, while the palate delivers bright flavors of strawberry and black cherry, accented by subtle spice and sweet toasty oak. Balanced acidity and silky tannins carry through to a lingering, rounded finish with elegant structure and freshness.
