Dr. Tank Algae Remover & Prevention Tabs are your go-to solution for combating and preventing algae growth in your aquarium. Designed to tackle several strains of common algae, these tabs ensure your planted and freshwater tanks remain vibrant and healthy.

Key Features and Important Notes

  • Comprehensive Protection: Effectively combats various types of algae, including green algae, brown algae, hair algae, green brush algae, and green spot algae.

Product Specifications

  • Includes 100 tabs per bottle.
  • Dosage Instructions:
    • To combat algae, dose 1 tab per 20L (5 gal) daily for 3 days.
    • Simply drop the tabs directly into the aquarium. After 3 days, perform a 50% water change. If algae persists, dose daily for another 3 days before performing another 50% water change.
    • For localized treatment of heavily infested areas, turn off the filter for 10 minutes and spot treat by filling a dropper or syringe with a solution made by dissolving 1 tab in 20mL of tap water, and dose directly onto the algae.
    • For prevention, apply a single dose an hour before performing a water change.
    • IMPORTANT: In case of fish stress at any point, immediately perform a 50% water change. If you have sensitive plants, please change 1/3 water after every dose.
