This is a set of three Series 7 Dining Chairs, initially designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955. These examples were produced in Denmark and date to 1964. The design features a tubular steel frame with a chrome-plated finish, and has a pressure-molded sliced veneer shell that has been ebonized.
The listed price includes all three chairs to be sold together as a set.
Each chair measures 20.5 inches long, 20 inches wide, and 32 inches tall with a seat height of 18 inches. These pieces do show wear from previous use, including some marks on the frames. There are some areas on the ebonized seats that have rubs from being cleaned. We have installed new feet. Overall, the chairs are in good condition. Please see photos.
